Rules

EXAMINATION RULES

  1. The course for the Degree of B.Ed is run by the university of Jammu and it is extended over a period of one academic session.
  2. The annual examination for the Degree of B.Ed is held in August every year at the centres constituted and notified by the University of Jammu.
  3. Bi-annual / Supplementary examination is held in February / March every year.
  4. Final practice of teaching examination is notified by controller of Examination University of Jammu in consultation with Principals of the colleges.
  5. Only those who have completed the following formalities are eligible to appear in the final examination.
  6. Who have obtained eligibility in attendance on the basis of certificate submitted to the University by the Principal of the college
  7. The University will conduct the final teaching.practice examination of only those candidates who have completed micro and macro teaching lesson and internship as prescribed by the university.
  8. Only those students are eligible to appear in theory examination who
attain 75% attendance and take two assessment tests and submit one assignment in each paper.
  1. RULES OFTHE COLLEGE
    DISCIPLINE is the watch word of the college. Students who seek admission in this college have to maintain discipline and they shall have to give proof of their good behaviour and conduct. If any student violates the discipline, he or she is liable to disciplinary action.
    LEAVE

    1. Class attendance is compulsory
    2. No student can proceed on long leave
    3. Medical leave will be sanctioned only on production of Medical Certificate.
    4. Minimum 75% attendance is to be attained during the session by every student.

    ABSENTEES

    1. Long absence wilt lead to shortage in attendance and / or cancellation of admission if any candidate falls short of attendance, he / she will not be eligible to appear in the final examination.
    2. If any student remains away from the college unauthorizedly, he/she will be dealts with college rules. No student can discuss politics within the college premises.
    3. No student can have either full time or part time job. If any such case is detected the candidate's admission can be cancelled.
    4. No student can appear in any University examination during the course of the session.

    GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

    1. No male/female student is allowed :o enter girls hostel premises, without the prior permission of the Principal / Warden.
    2. College timings will be strictly observed by all student / staff members.
    3. Every student will be required to write THOUGHT FOR THE DAY" by turn on the board specified for it.
